Pingtung City

Pingdung City is the capital of Pingdung County, Taiwan (Republic of China).
Pingdung is located in Pingdung County which is the southern most county in Taiwan. It is located East of Kaoxiung and Fengshan. The city is centered between the Western coast and the Eastern mountain range. It is humid and extremely hot in summer. It is fairly cool in winter. The local people consider that Pingdung is a small city with more than 210,000. Many people work in Kaoxiung and lots of them commute by train.
